El Tri Concert Incident in Mexico City
During the El Tri Simplemente Sinfnico concert at Paseo de la Reforma in Mexico City, a screen to the left of the stage collapsed just as the first notes of "Perro Negro" began. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Preliminary reports indicated that the fall was caused by a failure in the support chains. For safety reasons, the venue was evacuated while staff from the Auditorio Nacional worked to address the issue and enable the resumption of the performance. The concert, which sold out its initial date, is scheduled for a second show on October 13. Following this, El Tri will continue their tour in the United States with performances in Aurora, Rosemont, and New York.
